About the Department

In 1956-57 academic session, our college got the affiliation for Mathematics as a Pass subject for B.Sc. students from Calcutta University. After that in 1960 Mathematics Honours course was initiated. From 2008, our college is running under West Bengal State University, Barasat . Over 55 years, this department has been playing an important role for the betterment of its students. Many eminent teachers in the field of Mathematics have delivered valuable lectures and enriched our students from time to time. Several students of this department are well established in their life and have excelled in different sphere of the society.
