About Computer Science

The Computer Science Department, Dinabandhu Mahavidyalaya, Bongaon offers both Honours and General courses.

The Department  offers computing, Information Technology (IT) related areas, Various kinds of software designs as per modern technology, study on how to relate with other subject areas and many application related study concepts.

The Computer Science (Honours Course) was introduced in the year 2015. The introduction of this course in our institution at B.Sc. (Honours) level expands the scope of the nearby students.

This initiative helps our students to enrich themselves for higher studies in different institutions of our country ( Jadavpur University, West Bengal State University, MSIT, M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology and others ) . After higher studies many of them are placed in different organizations ( Tata Consultancy Services, Accenture and others ). Few of them are served as faculty positions in different institutes after higher studies.

Our aim is to enrich the knowledge of our students in the field of Computer Science.
