Student Union
The Students’ Union is the official organ of the students. In every new academic session a new union is formed through a democratic electoral process in which every student has absolute freedom to vote for the candidate of his/her choice. The Principal, by virtue of his position, is the President of the Union. This thoroughly democratic set-up includes ten departments, each having a secretary of its own, managing the union’s multifaceted activities in the spheres of cultural programmes, games and sports, debate, excursion, publication of magazine, etc. True to the institution’s democratic tradition, the existing Students’ Union (2014-15) has been formed in the following form :
