Rules & Regulation

1. Each student has to be the member for using the Library.
2. The members have open access to the library. So members have to keep their briefcases, bags, umbrella, lunch boxes and other personal belongings must be deposited at the entrance in the property counter.
3. Members must show their Library Card on entering the Library, while borrowing books and journals and at any time if asked to do so by the Library Staff.
4. Every member must sign the register available at the entrance.
5. The Students are allowed to issue 2 books for 15days and may renew the same for additional 15days.  The faculty members are allowed to issue 5 books for 30 days .
6. Retaining books for more than the stipulated period is liable for a fine of Re. 0.5 /day/book.
7. A Non member can also use the library material in the premises with the permission of the Librarian.
8. Members are allowed to use reading room for reading purposes on submission of their library cards.
9. Readers should not mark, underline, dog-ear mark, write, tear pages or damages the library Documents.
10. Strict silence, decorum and discipline must be maintained in the Library.
11. Member should behave in a reasonable and descent fashion in the library and must not damage library property or disturb other members.
12. Smoking, eating, sleeping and talking loudly are strictly prohibited in the Library.
13. Newspapers and magazines must be read only in the Library on specific tables and should not be taken to any other reading areas.

No library material can be taken out of the library without permission. Anyone who violates the rules and regulations of the library would be liable to lose the privilege of Library Membership.
